As with any tools, you should always keep your tools clean, you may use mineral spirits on this product, always disconnect from power source before cleaning or maintenance look for parts that have wear, always replace the part so the tool will work properly, store in a cool dry place when not in use.

Once you are done painting, proceed to clean the hose and all the spray gun parts too, either in water for (water base paint) or thinner for oil-based paint.

The one thing that you should know about this type of appliance is that it sometimes gets clogged. If it does get clogged you will have to clean it to get it to work again.
