What should I do if my toddler woke up from her nap sick?

First of all take her temperature. If it's really high bring her to the ER. Put a cool cloth on her forehead and give her some tylenol. Try to get her to go back to sleep and of course give her water.

Take her to your family doctor. If you are really worried, take her to emergency, but I don't see the need for that.

Toddlers get viral infections from friends, play school or after shots. Check the fever using thermometer. If fever is low, wait till next day. If fever is medium (> 39. 7)give some medication like tylenol. Dress her in light cotton cloth. Give her soup, juice, boiled rice and veggie, lots of water and plenty of rest. If temperature rises,take her to doctor.

You should give her medicine to get her fever down. Give her whatever your daughters pediatrician recommends is best for fever reduction. See if she will take another nap. Sleeping it off can really help. If she's not okay tomorrow, take her to her pediatrician.
