Mulch and fertilize! It might just be that they haven't been able to bounce back yet from being on the dinner buffet. Give them a month or so, if they still look bad, consider that it may be a fungus.

Remove the hosta from the ground. Put it in a pot of potting mix, not potting soil. Keep in a shady area and keep the soil semi-moist.

Sick Hosta plants usually is due to a fungal infection. Apply a soft, diluted form of fungicide to the leaves and prune any excess shrubbery surrounding the hosta plant. Try not to water the roots very much or at all if it rains as this plant does not require much moisture to thrive.

Assuming your hosta problem is not snails, which would be indicated by little round holes in the leaves, try mulching and fertilizing them.

Hostas are very resilient plants. Just give the Hostas regular watering with light fertilization. Then they will just need some time.

If the deer have been after them then it will take them a while to get back up and growing again give them a little time to rejuvinate themselves.
