You can go into the Windows settings and uncheck the box labeled restart when encountering an error. That might fix the problem, but likely it is not a windows problem but a power issue. Try removing the battery and straight plugging it in if your model will allow that. A bad battery could also cause this same issue.

You may have a faulty power supply. Another issue could be a virus or ad-ware. Try running a virus scan on your computer. You could also be running some type of program that is causing a conflict and causing your computer to shut down.

One possibility is over heating. Look to see if the fan is working or if air flow is hindered by dust. Another possibility is a virus or malicious software infection; have it scanned by several different anti-virus packages.
