The most important thing you can do is have an open and honest conversation about what this change will mean, and whether or not you wish to continue dating. Long-distance relationships can survive and thrive, but best succeed when both parties feel they have open avenues for expressing their feelings.

There is not much that you can do, other than to try and keep in contact as much as possible (by phone, e-mail, visit when you can), etc., and hope for the best.

Your concern is altogether appropriate here. If you don't plan on joining your girlfriend by at least relocating in order to be close to her, the subsequent strain on the relationship caused by seperation can easily lead to infidelities on both your parts and eventual break up.

First you need to calm down and accept the fact.If you really love her, you can often contact her via email and calls to show your strong feeling. You had better visit her in person. But you should know this problem is very serious because of distance. It is natural you two may often change minds.
