What kind of college is College Misericordia?

Misericordia University is located in Dallas, Pennsylvania near Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. It is a Catholic, co-ed four-year liberal arts school that received university status in 2007. The school offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. It was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1924.
