What should I do about my Cadillac Seville SLS transmission slipping?

first check fluid, to see if it's low if not you have to go to a transmission shop,like Amoco, Sears or any other places. or you can if you have the right tools and a lift you can do it your self Don't try to do this with jackstands they don't get it high enough off the ground.

First thing is to check the fluid level. Warm the car up to operating temperature and, with the engine running, check the dipstick. Anything more will require a shop.

Your best option would be to take your car to a transmission specialist. A transmission fluid flush and refill may help. Also try changing the filter. A bit more expensive, but more likely to solve your problem, would be to have the bands tightened. If it comes down to it, there are always junkyards.

You need to take it in to have it fixed. A professional would know how to fix it. You may need a new one. Or a rebuilt one. You should have a professional look at it, because I don't think you can fix it on your own. Or go get a manual for the car to fix it.
