How do I check a Chrysler Transmission that is sticking?

You really can not check it, if you are noticeing that your gears are not shifting properly you will need to disassemble your transmission and have it rebuilt.

im going to take a wild guees and say its before the new bently looking crysler 300s bc the newer ones have the mercedes transmition in them and never stick or cause problems, if its sticking when you hit the gas you will feel it kind of mis firing and grinding thats how you know

The transmission sticks sometimes when the fluid is low, check that and add some fluid if needed. Still sticking then you should check the filter. Still having trouble then you might have to reset the computer, if that is the case then you need to take it to the shop.

The first thing you need to do is check the level of your transmission fluid. When the fluid is low, the transmission will stick when switching gears. You can get rid of this by adding more fluid.

If you transmission is sticking first thin is to chec the transmission fluid located under the hood.If the transmission need fluid top it up if it does not,slowly put in in reverse then drive to see if it slips .
