The manual will give you all the test procedure's for your alternator.Make sure it's putting out..haha If after you get it started everything work's with no dimming of light's I would say it's ok.Check it anyway..! Make sure there are no broken or corroded wire's. Then it's probably the battery.

Well if it won't charge with a battery charger then you probably have a bad battery. If the battery does charge but not in the bike its an electrical problem.

It looks like one of the common issues with the battery. I think you should change your battery and you will be good to go.

Check that the battery connections aren't loose. If the battery is in good condition then there may be a problem with the alternator. A Suzuki workshop can test it.

Check and/or replace the stator (part of the alternator). Suzukis were notorious for this for some years.

If the bike starts and runs off a jump start. Then you probably have a completely dead battery. Your battery is under the seat and should be repaced with a new one. I would recommend taking the old battery with you to the store, so you can get your core charge back right then and there and match up sizes.
