There is no place where you can get a free background check. The cheapest place to get one is at The Attorney Generals Office in your town/city/state.

I do not think that it is possible to get a free background check. Most places want to charge you a fee for processing and to ensure that you are the one requesting the check.

If you know the state you want to do a check in, you can go into the the county site and check your record for free.

There are a number of websites that claim to offer free background checks, but the majority of these are either outright scams or ways to hook you into paying for a service. This is sort of like asking where you can get a car for free: to good to betrue.

most court documents are of public record I believe you go to the local court house and get a background check done on someone where if you looking to this online the company charges you for their labor not necessarily the cost of the report.

The only place to get a free back ground check is the sheriffs department, and only for yourself. Other places only offer limited information for free and will require a fee for more personal information. If you are an employer, have your potential employees get their own back ground checks done and have them turn them into you.

Well you can't really get a free check done. Why don't you just do the background check yourself. That way you will get it free.
