Consider first and foremost the amount of time you have to spend with the dog. Any of the terrier breed is stubborn and a bull terrier is ESPECIALLY stubborn. They do much better with constant contact with their owners and family. Also, if you're a couch potato, get a different dog. They are very active and need exercise.

Bull terriers are very bull-headed dogs. (no pun intended) In order to own a bull terrier you must be strong willed and have the time to devote to intense training. Bull terriers are also very energetic dogs so you will need to have plenty of spare time to exercise with your bully:.

There are many things to consider about buying a bull terrier. First, they can be a bit aggressive. Also, as you should with any other dogs, think about you. Do you have a small living space? Will you be able to walk it daily?

While bull terriers can be excellent pets, and are extremely loyal and friendly, they require a great deal of supervision and should not be brought into a home where they will be left alone for long periods, or in homes with cats or other small pets.

If it's cute and make them show you the history of the parents if the dog is registered it will have papers somewhere, if they don't want to show there's something wrong in the blood line look else where for one. Also consider the tempermant of the parents don't buy a puppy if they won't let you see both parents.

Always consider a breed's negatives because you'll be living with them for 10-15 years. Bull Terriers are rowdy, shed heavily, and are prone to aggression and serious health problems.

Check your city's laws and be ready for what you will be facing, but owning the breed is very rewarding as they make loyal and loving companions.
