What should I be aware of involving pregnancy and funerals?

A lot of people find it upsetting for a pregnant woman to attend a funeral, as it may offend the family of the deceased. However, if you were very close with this person and his/her family, I'm sure they would understand that you would like to pay your respects, and shouldn't have a problem with your attending.

I'm sorry for your loss. Just be sure not to upset yourself too much. Stress can cause things to go wrong with the pregnancy.

Being pregnant and attending a funeral isn't a problem, as long as emotionally you are okay, and that you aren't having to lift anything, and that you aren't standing for periods of time.

the usual concept is purity of mind and soul will do anything with the conception. Sages insist a lady can give a virtuous child if she conceives when her mind and body are pure. usually cemetery is a place for burning dead bodies and they may be disturbed mentally sometimes.
