The board should include a complete walk-through of the scientific method (and its application) to your project. It should have sections like "problem," "hypothesis," "materials," "procedure," "data," "analysis," and "conclusion."

The board should include the question, hypotheseis, a brief description of the process, data, and conclusions along with whether the hypothesis was correct. Pictures will help make it more presentable.
