At four weeks you shouldn't be worried about getting the baby on a schedule. Most babies that young just aren't ready to be put on one. Feedings are usually every 3-4 hours for formula fed babies, and every 1-2 hours for breastfed babies. Other than that they'll do a good bit of sleeping and probably a good bit of crying.

Babies don't need much a schedule. Just make sure he is fed regularly and gets 8-12 hours of sleep a day. A lot of people say babies need strict schedules but in reality they don't.

For the first few months your child won't have much of a schedule at all. He will wake up in intervals for food and will sleep most of the day.

At this point I would not be worried about a schedule. Your infant is going to constantly change and will change their schedul as well. Just read the signs of hungry and tired and your baby will probably adjust to his or her own schedule.

At four weeks old, you probably won't be able to put him on a schedule even if you try. Babies this young cannot feasibly be scheduled.

At this age they will not really be on a schedule. Just focus more on feeding them when they are hungry and tending to others needs as they arise.
