There are around 38.4% of people who have O+ blood type being 1 person in every 3. Blood type O- makes up about 7.7% of the people being 1 person in every 15. Type O is the most common. AB+ has a ratio of 3.2% or 1 in every 29 people. However, AB- forms only .7% or about 1 in 167 people.

According is the Red Cross 38% of people have O positive blood, 34% have A positive, 9% have B positive, the remaining 19% is split between the other types.
