Don't worry, your not the only person that worried besides there was this survey thing that went around and the results were that most people would rather die than speak in front of an audience. In 1977 a book claimed that 40.5% of people have a fear of public speaking.

95% of people experience some degree of anxiety when public speaking. The more you speak in public, the easier it will get, so keep getting up there!

It's not uncommon at all. Most people I know actually are nervous or have a terrible fear of public speaking. You're not the only one who is freaking out. I'm sure there are other people that are nervous too, even if it's not as nervous as you are.
