Why do more people fear the dark more than the light?

The darkness is not fully understood. The average person sees shadows and envisions monsters living in the dark. The light reveals things otherwise hidden by shadows so people feel comfortable in it. A flashlight may help to make someone feel better about the dark and night. The dark is really no scarier then the light. It's simply misunderstood.

Actually you can leave small babies in the dark they don't fear that means they do not know about anything then they couldn't fear dark. When he or she was child they started to hear from adults, don't go to the dark from there ghost will come. From the childhood makes people fear the dark
