The new flu is the H1N1 AKA Swine Flu, a more severe case of the flu with a vaccine you can obtain. You may still need the seasonal flu vaccine.

Well its past 2008, but the flu's for 2009 are the normal strands of flu we get yearly. However H1N1 (swine flu) is a flu everyone should be concerned about. Become vaccinated if available. It's a dangerous flu and makes you very sick.

It is called the H1N1 flu. It is an influenza strain that was first discovered in swine, is related to the bird flu, and was first detected in major outbreaks in Mexico. Unlike many influenza strains, 90% of the deaths have been in people under 65, when most flu strains mostly kill people over 65.

Last year in 2008 the Swine Flu started to come around the United States. They keep hyping it up but actually no more people died from the Swine Flu than the regular seasonal flu. Some doctors and specialists even claim that the virus is more harmful to you than the flu is!!!

2008? uhmm. last time I checked my calender, it stated "2012"
