Your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic specifically intended to remedy a UTI. Advise your physician of other medications you are taking.

Urinary tract infections need to be correctly diagnosed by a physician. One should drink plenty of fluids with an infection. The physician will usually prescribe and antibiotic for the infection.

You shouldn't need to change or stop medications while being treated for a urinary tract infection, unless the medication you are taking is specifically listed as one that interferes with or is interfered with by what you take to treat the infection. If kidney function is also decreased, your doctor will want to then decrease or stop other medications.

I'm not sure what your asking. Are you asking if you can take other medications while you are taking medication for a urinary tract infection? This is something you need to talk to your doctor about so that he can put you on the proper medication and make sure that is a urinary tract infection is what you have.
