Most CPA's have a degree in accounting/business and are also certified nationally and with their state. Also supplemental training depending upon the state is usually required to keep up with changing laws, forms, and other. Most CPA's also take trainning in various computer programs, business startups, and marketing since many are self employeed or have to find their own clients.
