What kind of things do you think should go on employee bulletin boards?

Only work related things should go on a work bulletin board. There should not be any jokes, personal classifieds, or anything unrelated to the business. Acceptable items would be the schedule, any legal notices that are required to be put up, anything management needs to tell everybody, and possibly a list of any open shifts that need filled.

In some states, employers are required to post various legal notices for employees. These notices can include minimum wage requirements, discimination law descriptions and various notices regarding employee rights. The employee bulletin board must be used for this purpose. Depending on compnay policy, the board can also be used by employees to post sale items or other personal notices.

There are state rules that each employer must post, that's the law. Other things could be days off for holidays. Job openings. Employee of the Month.
