What kind of speech therapy works best for Wernicke's Aphasia?

My niece has just been diagnosed and I want to make sure she gets the right therapy.

Some studies say that you should just talk to your niece the normal way you would with anyone. It is recommended you keep sentences and words simple.

Wernicke's Aphasia is caused by damage to the temporal lobe of the brain, usually following a stroke or trauma. As in most disorders that originate in the brain, there is an incredible range of symptoms and their severity. As such, speech therapy is highly individualized so there is no "one best" therapy.
