The Salton Sea is the name of that movie. I believe the actor was Val Kilmer. It's a typical thriller with a lot of twists and turns. Sadly a lot of people turn to drugs when adversity happens. The movie was well written and the quality is great. Val Kilmer is a brilliant actor.

It sounds like The Salton Sea - by far, one of the worst movies Val Kilmer ever made. Terrible story and a waste of time. I recommend Tombstone.

I think the movie you are talking about is called The Salton Sea. It starred Val Kilmer as a trumpet player who gets involved with drug dealers. Has a really great performance by Vincent D'Onofrio as a drug dealer with no nose whose nickname is Pooh Bear. Enjoy!

Well i am not familiar with the movie that you describe but from doing a little searching I came up with a movie called The Salton Sea. It's a movie released back in 2002 about a drug addict who's wife was murdered. The lead character is played by Val Kilmer.
