What kind of people live in Yucatan, Mexico?

Kind of a hard question. Only local people of Yucatan, Mexico can answer this question right. Probably the people in that region is pretty normal like everywhere in the world, different: from kind, caring and hard-working to simple hypocrites, liars and just lazy people. But as to the nationality, I suppose Mexicans and some Mayas.

A wide variety of people live in the Yucatan peninsula. Obviously, tourism is a big industry there. But there is also mining and fishing and many other industries.
