What kind of people live in the desert?

In some third world countries, people live in hot and dry areas because that is simply where they are from. Their culture revolves around the desert, and they are too poor to move. In Westernized countries, people may prefer the lack of humidity or the frequent sunshine.

They live there for many reasons. I lived there.There is a presence that can not be found on the east coast. There is not humidity,that is always a plus.There is magic to be found there if you let it come to you. People enjoy living in the open where there are not so many others.
