There are websites that detail the process for obtaining a motorcycle license in Ohio. There is a written exam as well as a practical test. You can also go by the BVM and pick up a booklet that details the requirements of a license and offers study material to prepare for the tests.

If you are at least 15 1/2 years old,you can get a temporary motorcycle permit.You can get a copy of the Motorcycle and Operator manual and the Digest of Ohio Motor Laws.Take the written test and vision test and if you pass and have a valid I.D. you get a temporary permit.After 18 you can get a regular licence.
