Originally bred as a herd dog, this is a strong-willed dog that needs very decisive training, or h can display aggressive, even ferocious tendencies. This dog is not recommended in a small home,or a home with children and other pets. VERY protective, strong personality, he needs frequent exercise and interaction.

As far as I know, they are a very large dog that is quite rare. They are usually loyal to only one owner or a family, and suspicious of strangers. They were bred to guard livestock, so other pets in the house would be a bad idea.
