What kind of chimney flashing should I use on a metal roof?

Most manufacturers suggest making a 1/2" deep sawcut into chimney about 5-6" above and paralell to the roof deck on all sides so that flashing can be inserted into that.

The best material to use is copper. The copper will provide years of protection and requires no further maintenence once installed.

you should use reg metal flashing or copper depending on your roof. you want to try to find a similar color so that it kinda blends in and dont stand out any kind of metal flashing is good though
