Yes people do actually wear it. I have worn it before. I braid hair so I know what I'm saying. It is a type of extension that you can either twist, or braid onto your scalp and you have a nice style that you can wear in your hair for a couple of months.

Yak hair is literally fur off of the animal Yak. And yes, people would wear it but I'm not sure it's extremely popular.

Yak hair is hair literally from an animal called a yak. People do wear this as wigs or extensions because it looks a little more realistic than synthetic hair, but isn't as expensive as real human hair.

Yak hair is often referred to as Yaki hair. The hair has a texture similar to relaxed African American hair and is available on a weft.
