Transnationalism is the economic and social information between two countries when it comes to social research and scholarly movement. This occurs all of the time between countries such as Germany and the US. The word was coined in the 20th century, however this information had been around for over 100 years.

I consider transnationalism to be a good thing; the suggestion that people and their beliefs and cultural practices are no longer defined by the boundaries of the countries of our birth. I believe that the more worldly aware people are, the more opportunities exist for cooperation and respect.
