Yes, it's totally possible for African American's to have long hair. Some just like it short and other prefer it short because they have curly hair that doesn't like to stay untangled. Not all African Americans have that stereotypical hair type where it's curly. Some people actually have straight hair.

Yes black people can have long hairs but it depends upon the growth and the condition of the hair. To maintain lond hairs are difficult. But if hair fall is less then any one can go for long hairs.
