White powder on your plants could be powdery mildew fungi. Powdery mildew fungi overwinter in plant debris and begin producing spores in the spring. Which can be carried to your plants by wind, insects and splashing water. Dampness or high humidity, crowded plantings and poor air ciculation are conditions that encourage the growth and spread of the fungi.

The white powdery substance on your plants is probably caused by mildew or mold. This normally happens when there is a lot of condensation in the air. You can find products at your local hardware store that you can spray to get rid of the mold. You can also try mixing 1 part dishwashing liquid to 20 parts water.

It is likely to be one of several forms of fungus called powdery mildew, which pretty much look all th same.It is very common and rarely fatal to the plant, but repeatd infections will subsequently weaken the plant. Most fungicides are safe, but you can make a home remedy using baking soda.Avoiding planting non resistant varieties in the shade is also helpful.

This is a fungus which causes a powdery mildew to form on plants. When watering plants, do not get water on leaves as this causes humidity to form around the plant. Get rid of any plant parts that have this fungus because it will spread to other plants. Decrease the nitrogen in the fertilizer that you are using.
