The amount of light needed for plants varies with the species of plants. Some require strong bright light to grow, while others prefer shade. It is the same variant that is involved with water amounts. Without the right amount of light for the variety, they will become stunted or die.

the more light a plant gets the more it grows a plant can have up to 12 hrs of sunlight just make sure they dont get any more
