If you are recoating an RV, you can make all of the necessary repairs and then cover with a rubber sealant. Most places will probably suggest RoofSeal rubber sealant. If you have an aluminum roof, you should probably use something like A-Seal. It's the aluminum equivalent to the RoofSeal product.

There are two types of roofing materials generally food on RV's. One is metal and the other is rubber. Older Mobile homes will have metal roofs. If you have a RV built within the last few years it will have a rubber roof. Noth roof will last if they are properly maintained.
