Women who cut their hair are seen as independent and not concerned with what men think. Long hair is associated with femininity, which is associated with submissiveness. The shorter the hair, the more unable a women is to be controlled. That's the thinking, anyway.

In general, men want women who look like woman. Short hair is typically for men and men want women to look different than their peers, so long hair is something that most men prefer.

It's really fairly standard that men are conditioned to admire and be inspired by long hair. For them, it is very sexy and therefore very desirable. A turn-on is a turn-on and you have to decide how much you want to appeal to your husband. Short hair is easy for you but not thrilling for him.

I'm a man and I like short-hair on women. I've always seen women with short hair as wild and self-confident. I think it all depends on preference.

i have short hair and it still attracts men (non-intentionally) i don't get it and don't get being called charming when i'm not aware of it
