What is the proper way to do towel folding?

I was taught to fold bath towels this way: First, fold the towel in thirds lengthwise. Then, fold that long rectangle in half, then in quarters.

I think the proper way to fold a towel is how you find it best, i fold a towel by folding it into thirds, and then fold it over 2 times, it really is just how you like the towel to be folded just get together and decide and the you won't have to argue.

I fight with my mom over this. There is no right way. I once brought out a Martha Stewart video to show her why I do it my way.
