Beta fish are one of the easiest fish to keep as a pet. The simplest way to keep this fish is in a large glass bowl with appropriate decorations. Feed your fish twice daily (morning and evening) but not too much. Change the water once per week either using drops to dechlorinate or water that has set out all night.

Make sure your betta has at least a 1 gallon bowl. They are not happy living in small cups despite what some people will tell you. Treat the water first to remove chlorine, check the temperature, and then put your fish in. Give them gravel and a plant too. Feed a few food pellets once a day.
