You must Have Adobe acrobat reader 9 installed on your computer. Click on File-> Print in Adobe Reader. Then Print Page will be displayed . Select Current Page or Page range. It will print each of the page on different papers. And then attach the whole pages to form the final big poster.

There are a variety of programs and applications that you can use to create large images. The most common and easiest to use is "Rasterbator".

You can either try to do it directly from Adobe Reader with help from your printers driver if it supports that feature. Or try the original rasterbator itself, google it.
