Use form AN to apply. There will be fee to be sent with the application. You need to meet these requirements: 18 years or older, sound mind, been in the UK for the past five years and continue living there, speak English, good character, pass "Life in UK" test.

Go to the UK boarder agency web site. Read the AN Guide which is there. Find out what is required. Fill out the AN Application. Submit application and fee. Wait.
