In my humble opinion, vegetarian spinach lasagna tops the list. It has everything--carbs and vegetables that we are told are good for us. Tomato sauce provides vitamins and iron and spinach provides a green leafy vegetable.

I think the most healthy Italian foods are spaghetti and meat balls. The spaghetti should be wheat and the meat balls should be made with lean meat.
