What is the most aggressive dog breed?

Any breed can be aggressive and I believe any of them can be tamed if done by the right person. Alot of it depends on the age of the dog when you get it as well as the past history it has been raised with you can't expext a dog to tame when it has been treated terribly.

I don't believe there is one specific breed as much as certain breeds that have been trained, based on their personality, intelligence and strength, to be aggressive. Many people fear pit bulls, german sheperds, rottweillers and dobermans, but much of that stereotype is based on movies and news reports. A run in the park doesn't make the evening news.
