What is the mascot of Delta State University?

Delta State has 2 mascots. The official one called the 'Statesman' because of the representative that was the major influence in where the school is located. The unofficial one is the 'Fighting Okra' which looks like a piece of okra wearing boxing gloves with a mean look on it's face.

Delta State University's mascot is an Okra. It is a larger green guy that looks like a big vegetable. They sometimes have parades with the Okra in them. Hope this helps!
