They offer medical care and other services to the remote regions of this mountainous and culturally diverse nation. Their goals are to serve and assist the Pakistani people in whatever way they can.

EDHI started as a one man operation in Karachi and is now the largest common-welfare, non-profit operation in Pakistan providing relief work to distressed area of the country. EDHI provides medical relief services, air ambulances, care for elderly and children, relief for abused women, training, and homes for the displaced
