Cancer prognosis depends on what stage it usually is detected this goes the same with B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma, if diagnosed at an early stage a person can have a 60-80% chance of survival. This is routinely treated with radiotherapy, usually the physician bases prognosis on factors such as age, hemoglobin count, stage and lypmh nodes affected.

With treatment non-Hodgkins lymphoma has one of the highest survival rates of all cancer. It will be aprox 6 months to a year of radiation theraphy or chemotherapy or both but the remission rate is 95%.

It is didfferent for different people the best way to really know about your particular case is to call your doctors office and set up a consult with him/her that way they can answer any question you may currently have as well as any that may come up during the consult.

Giving a prognosis for large B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma is very difficult. There are many factors that need to be looked at, for instance the age of the individual, comorbid conditions, the stage and grade of the lymphoma. Experienced physicians are the best people to give a prognosis.

Without treatment, large B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma is a high grade cancer that is terminal in short order. Treatment of this aggressive lymphoma is remarkably affective and many patients go on to a full cure, so get to your oncologist.
