An open system can be viewed by all where as a closed system can be viewed only by the individual person and it is always safe. eg. password is a closed 1.
A system which is able to transfer energy outside of its boundaries, is an open system. Whereas, a system where transfer of energy is impossible between boundaries, is called a closed system.
