A blower is a forced induction unit that will force more air into the engine thus producing more power. Typical blower are either a turbo charger or a supercharger. Blowers can be applied to racing or daily driving.

A blower refers to a a twin screw belt driven supercharger. A large belt driven of the engine's crankshaft turn a pair or meshing blades essentially forcing air into the engine. It increase the amount of air the engine draws in allow for more fuel to be burnt increasing power/torque.

A blower forces air into the engine so it can generate more power. When forcing more air in more fuel is used to generate more power.
