What is the best way to learn to walk in high heels?

how long does it take to become comfortable walking in them?

I've always heard that the best way to get used to walking in high heels is to vacuum while wearing them. If you can vacuum wearing those things, you know you'll be able to balance and walk easily.

It doesn't take very long but you must start with a small heel!

The absolute best way to feel comfortable in heels is to break them in well, and practice. I suggest wearing any particular pair of heels around your house before trying to wear them outside. As for wearing heels in general, practice walking on the ball of your foot, with your heels up as high as you can lift them.

I think it takes a few good months of walking in heels to get used to them. I would start with a short heel and practice walking in them at home and outside for a month or so and gradually go up to a taller heel. Practicing is the only way that you are going to learn heel-walking.

The best thing to do is practice in a lower heel and work up to a taller heel, wear them around the house when you aren't too busy and before long you will be able to walk on all kinds of surfaces.
