The tallest high heels ever were a 16 inch tall pair of stilettos, with 11 inch platforms. They were recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest ever made, but they're not something you would want to wear daily- they were bright red!

Regular high heels go from 3 to 6 inches, however platforms go from 5 to 8 inches in heel height.

It really depends on if you are talking single sole (non platform) or platform. For single sole shoes, the highest would be 8 inches, and those would be called the "ballet" heels which are NOT for walking in. As far as platform shoes, 8 inches is currently standard, but back in the Renaissance, they had some up to 30 inches.

The Highest heel shoes made are by BAM 11 which has been known for making about the highest heels out there on the market today. They are to be found comfortable to and sleek as well. They are very expensive shoes but if you love high heels and I mean really high heels these are the ones for you .
