What is the best way to go about getting weeds out of a cactus bed?

When you get a cactus caution is always the best practice they can be extremly dangerous. As far as weeding them the best way I know of is to wear something the cactus cannot poke through because some cactus plants have prickers that are like hair and if they get in your skin you won't be able to remove them.

Since you're putting in cactus, I assume the area gets a lot of sun. Put down black trash bags where the weeds(not cacti)for a week.

i would tell you you wear very heavy gloves and weed around the cactus sometime the gloves do not work so be carefull, you could use a hoe and hoe around them just leave the gloves on

A species-specific herbicide could serve for a quick solution, though laying cardboard boxes over the weeds could also work.
