Unfortunately there are no good fixes for a leaking headgasket, beyond replacement- which is usually costly. There are a number of products sold at auto parts stores that claim to help with the problem, but they're band-aids at best.

The best way is disassembling components off the vehicle such as battery points, alternator, AC compressor, air box and intake hose. To remove the head gasket you need to observe the bolt sequence and remove them in order. It is best to take the cylinder head to a machine shop to check for cracks before installing the new head gasket.

There is no good way to repair it. Coolant additive only temporarily fix the issue. The only real way to fix it is to actually remove the head and install a new gasket.

The only permanent way of fixing a blown head gasket is to remove the head and install a new gasket. Using some kind of head gasket "sealer" is only temporary. The old gasket must be completely removed ans the surface cleaned. Then a new gasket is install and the head put back on.

With combustion chamber pressures reaching between 120-150psi there is no other fix than a complete head gasket replacement. A head gasket should be replaced by a professional.

The best way to fix a head gasket is to replace it, but for a temporary fix you can buy a head gasket sealant that you pour into your oil which will seal the leak for about six months.
